Dodi Papase is a town in Kadjebi District of the Volta Region of Ghana.
Dodi Papase is endowed with rich vegetation and the inhabitants are predominantly cocoa farmers. The community is made up of Christians,Muslims and traditionalist.Currently, two telecommunication networks are in operation in the town,(MTN and vodafone Ghana). The only hospital (Saint Mary Theresa Hospital) in the Kadjebi district can also be found in the Papase township, located along the Papase-Dodo Amanfrom highway.The hospital currently has many young professional nurses blended with able old and young auxiliary nurses making healthcare in the facility very excellent.Services rendered include OPD,LAB.,OBS & gynea, Surgeries MCH,etc. The hospital once upon a time housed legends(SIR ELASH,SEIDU,STEPHEN,BECKY,COLLINS,DAVID,ANTHONY,GIDEON and Omalley.....2006-2013)Much respect to Bossu,Proph, Sir Ray Festus, Maxy,DOUSTY....(we salute)....on Tuesdays and Thursdays, the hospital area market, affectionately referred to as 'Dzimpapa' market becomes a major business point for the people in the locality.Food items such as plantain and cassava are the most sold items in the market. Fruits such as banana, coconuts and oranges are also in abundance. There are about 4 public basic schools in the town and only one private basic school. The Dodi Papase Senior High Technical school is the only second cycle institution in Dodi Papase and houses students from various parts of the country.The school is endowed with well trained teachers(SIR SHEIK,AGUDA 1, MAJOR, BORBORBI ETC.) and thus their performance in the West African Secondary School Certificate Examination is excellent. The road network from Kadjebi to Papase is good except the stretch from Ahamansu Junction to Papase township. The wawa river serves as a source of recreation for the people of Papase. Occasionally, the youth organize the river banks and in their own small way enjoy themselves in what they term "wawa beach".
